Kopfballstudie

Das Institut für Bewegungstherapie und bewegungsorientierte Prävention und Rehabilitation – Abt. 3 sucht für ein Forschungsprojekt in Kooperation mit dem Universitätsklinikum RWTH Aachen und dem Forschungszentrum Jülich aktive Fußballer:innen. Untersucht werden die Auswirkungen von Kopfbällen auf Gehirnaktivitäten.

Was wird gemacht?

Die Testung teilt sich auf drei Termine auf und gliedert sich wie folgt: Schritt 1 (Testdurchführung in Jülich) ~ 4Std.

Ø Computerbasierter Lerntest mit EEG-Kappe (2x)

Ø Blutabnahme (2x)

Ø Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT-Bildaufnahme) (2x)

Ø Kopfball Messungen (1x)

Schritt 2 (24 Stunden nach Schritt 1, an der DSHS) ~ 2min.

Ø Blutabnahme

Schritt 3 (10 Tage nach Schritt 1, an der DSHS) ~ 2min.

Ø Blutabnahme

Welche Voraussetzungen müssen erfüllt werden?

Ø Mindestalter 18 Jahren

Ø aktive Fußballerin/ aktiver Fußballer

Ø keine neurologischen Erkrankungen

Ø keine psychiatrische Erkrankung

Ø keine Metallteile im Körper (z.B. Schrauben, Zahnersatz, Retainer, Herzschrittmacher, Implantate, etc.)

Was haben Sie davon?

Ø 200 € Aufwandsentschädigung (bei vollständiger Absolvierung aller 3 Schritte)

Header study

The Institute for Movement Therapy and Movement-Oriented Prevention and Rehabilitation - Dept. 3 is looking for active footballers for a research project in cooperation with the University Hospital Aachen and the Research Center Jülich. The study investigates the effects of headers on brain activity.

What is being done?

The test is divided into three dates and is structured as follows:

Step 1 (test carried out in Jülich) ~ 4 hours

· Computer-based learning test with EEG cap (2x)

· Blood collection (2x)

· Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI imaging) (2x)

· Header measurements (1x)

Step 2 (24 hours after step 1, at DSHS) ~ 2min.

· Blood collection

Step 3 (10 days after step 1, at DSHS) ~ 2min.

· Blood collection

What requirements must be met?

· Minimum age 18 years

· active soccer player

· no neurological diseases

· no psychiatric illness

· no metal parts in the body (e.g. screws, dentures, retainers, pacemakers, implants, etc.)
